Hi all,
with the new movie launching in Australia, New Zealand, parts of Europe, India, Thailand and Mexico etc on May 9 and 10, we thought it was time to put up a little post about spoiler courtesy.
If you are submitting a fan work or discussions which could contain spoiler information in respect to characters, warnings or images then we are requesting one of two options be followed so that those that want to remain relatively spoiler free can do so.
If it is text, then the options are to put that information under 'spoiler' formatting which can be found in the visual editor next to the 'Insert cut' option. Or you could place the text under a cut as the other option.
For images, i.e. icons or other graphic fanworks, some people consider that even seeing a visual could be a spoiler, so we are also asking that these be put under a cut.
We are mindful that there are a number of other countries that will not be getting the film until June/July and even until August, but we will lift this restriction at the end of May. Please feel free to contact one of the moderation team or post a comment here any time.
